Houston Akin was born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University, after which he studied law at Belmont University College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor.
Houston's law practice is primarily comprised of matters in real property, estate planning, probate, and business entities. His experience in those areas has served him well as a title attorney over the last eight years, as he is able to navigate difficult transactions involving estates, trusts, business entities, partitions, quiet titles, and other unique matters.
Houston is a proud dad and husband who enjoys reading, eating cereal, the oxford comma, and correcting other people's grammatical errors on the internet.
